The electronic part consists of three parts: the electrical protection; acquisition of internal and external data; and communication.
The protection is the power part of the AUV, counting on the BMS, which is the battery protection system and the Backplane which is responsible for the distribution of energy to the other internal components and the protection of the propellants against surges in the battery.
The data acquisition is done by the sensor board, where they are contained, the internal and external pressure sensors and the leak sensor, in addition, it also has the hydrophone board, which captures the acoustic signal from a pinger.
The communication part is also done by the Backplane with an interface having as main component a microcontroller storing the data obtained in the acquisition by the I²C protocol. This microcontroller sends these signals to Jetson using a UART protocol.
